Parents As Authors Series Traveling Across Canada
As part of the Canadian Language Museum’s traveling exhibits, our books are being featured as part of the “Speaking the Inuit Way” Exhibit that highlights Inuit diversity and language revitilization efforts. To find out more about the Museum’s mandate and exhibition dates click here. The PAA Books are written in English and Inuktitut, and are available for purchase.
TD Bank gives the OICC
a great kickstart
Through the generous donation by the TD Bank, the Ottawa Inuit Children’s Centre has been able to purchase a building dedicated to the Inuit youth of the Ottawa community. Representatives from TD Bank Group and the Ottawa Inuit Children’s Centre join Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson opened the new building on April 3, 2012.

Welcome to the Inuit Cultural Online Resource, also known as ICOR. This site was created to provide a central location online to learn about Canadian Inuit culture. This site is designed to serve as a resource for Canadian school age children and their teachers. It’s purpose is to offer new a different ways of learning about Inuit culture and what it means to be Inuit.

We Are Healthy Cookbook
This cookbook is the result of the ‘We Are Healthy’ program, where parents of Inuit children were given easy, cost-effective and fun recipes and physical activity opportunities to encourage healthy life-styles. Now we are able to share with you some of the program’s recipes. Thank you to the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport – Healthy Communities Fund for their generous funding support.
