As part of the Canadian Language Museum’s traveling exhibits, our books are being featured as part of the “Speaking the Inuit Way” Exhibit that highlights Inuit diversity and language revitilization efforts. Welcome to the Inuit Cultural Online Resource, also known as ICOR. This site was created to provide a central location online to learn about Canadian Inuit culture. This site is designed to serve as a resource for Canadian school age children and their teachers. It’s purpose is to offer new a different ways of learning about Inuit culture and what it means to be Inuit.

We Are Healthy Cookbook
This cookbook is the result of the ‘We Are Healthy’ program, where parents of Inuit children were given easy, cost-effective and fun recipes and physical activity opportunities to encourage healthy life-styles. Now we are able to share with you some of the program’s recipes. Thank you to the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport – Healthy Communities Fund for their generous funding support.

About OICC
Welcome to the Ottawa Inuit Children's Centre's (OICC) website. Our Centre serves Inuit children and youth from birth to 13 years of age and their families in the southern urban setting of the City of Ottawa. In partnership with parents and the community, the OICC fosters strong Inuit children, youth and families by providing a learning environment that will enhance children's overall wellbeing, adaptability and strength in a proud Inuit cultural environment.
