When dropping your child off at the Head Start please ensure that you speak with a staff member. Under no circumstances are children to be left unattended in the building.
The program staff must be notified when an alternative person is picking up or dropping off a child at the Head Start or from the bus. The alternative person's name must be on the child's 'Child Release Permission Form'. Staff will not release a child to an adult without prior approval from the parent or guardian. Staff and/or DNT drivers will not release a child to a perceived unsafe situation.
